eLIBRARY.RU is the largest Russian information portal providing access to more than 2.8 million scientific articles and publications in Russian, including electronic versions of Russian scientific and technical journals. All EDS customers may access the open-access content on elibrary.ru, but only subscribers may view the protected full text.
LearningExpress provides access to more than 1,200 academic and career-related resources to assist students in schools and adult education markets in achieving their educational and career goals. The online «learning centers» are designed to build and improve skills in reading, writing, math, science, job search and career advancement and much more. All customers may search LearningExpress metadata in EDS, but only subscribers have full access to the LearningExpress platform.
Developed by the U.S. Department of Energy, SciTech Connect provides access to energy-related R&D results from the 1940s to today. SciTech Connect incorporates the contents of two of the most popular core DOE collections — Information Bridget and Energy Citations Database. EDS content includes more than 2.6 million citations and over 360,000 full-text documents. All EDS customers can access content on SciTech Connect.
Please note: Customers who currently have Energy Citations Database and CustomLinking enabled on their EDS profile do not need to take any action to add SciTech Connect content to EDS profiles. Customer accounts will be updated to include CustomLinks to SciTech Connect by June 30, 2015.
The Sustainable Organization Library is the world’s leading online library on sustainability and social responsibility. The database, which consists of more than 8,000 records, covers a range of topics including sustainability, responsible business, ethics, corporate governance, development economics and the environment. All customers may search metadata, including searchable hidden full text in EDS, but only subscribers have full access to Sustainable Organization Library’s platform.
TOXNET: GENETOX is an open-access, archive database created by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The database consists of toxicology test results for more than 3,000 chemicals from 1980-2011. All EDS customers can now access the TOXNET: GENETOX database in EDS.
TOXNET (Toxicology Data Network), produced by The National Library of Medicine, is a group of open-access databases covering areas of toxicology including chemicals and drugs, environmental health, risk assessment and regulations, occupational safety and health, diseases and the environment, and poisoning. EBSCO also anticipates the release of the following TOXNET databases over the next couple of months: TOXLINE, ChemlDplus, HSDB, and CCRIS.
