Se han incluido cuatro nuevos recursos en Unika:

 

1. JoVE Science Education Database

JoVE, the Journal of Visualized Experiments, is the world’s first scientific video journal. Established in 2006, JoVE is devoted to publishing scientific research in a visual format. EDS customers may search JoVE’s metadata in EDS, but only subscribers can access the thousands of video articles from top research institutions around the world.

2. ORBi

ORBi (Open Repository and Bibliography), a project of the University of Liège in Belgium, makes the University’s academic research available to everyone. ORBi allows the expanded development and distribution of research on a global scale, thereby strengthening the University’s prestige and influence. EDS customers can search metadata for ORBi in EDS and access full text on the publisher platform.

3. Shamaa

Shamaa provides specialists and stakeholders free access to the educational studies produced in the Arab countries, as well as those available through international organizations with whom Shamaa has signed cooperation agreements. EDS customers can search and access citations and full text from Shamaa in EDS.

4. American Doctoral Dissertations, 1933 – 1955™ is a unique index that includes information on doctoral dissertations from a critical time period in American history. The dissertations were written by notables such as Martin Luther King, Jr., Henry Kissinger, Milton Friedman, Margaret Clapp and many others, including:

  • Pulitzer Prize winners
  • Nobel Prize winners
  • Fields Medal winners
  • NASA directors
  • Manhattan Project scientists
